Here at Cat’s Whiskers Cattery we offer home-from-home care to all our guests. We are a family run business that has been established for over 30 years. The Cat's Whiskers team all have a genuine love of our animal boarders and enjoy making them feel secure and settled. We cater for all our guests with care and respect regardless of age, size, temperament and breed. As animal owners and lovers ourselves we understand the requirements of our customers and work tirelessly to ensure the comfort and care of your family pet. Rest assured that at Cat's Whiskers your pet will be loved as though it was one of our own, we know how precious they are to you.

Cat's Whiskers is an exclusive, quiet haven for your family member to relax and spend its holidays. Located on our family farm, cats can enjoy the views of the local wildlife as well as relax on the sunny window ledges.

We believe we have one of the nicest, friendliest catteries, don't just take our word for it: come and look for yourself. Please feel free to call in and have a look round any time during our opening hours.

Cattery

All our cats' accommodation is heated, comfortable and secure. Many of our guests can enjoy views of the countryside surrounding the farm where the cattery is set. We have accommodation where cats can enjoy watching the farm animals in the fields as well as accommodation where they can relax in the warm comfortable surroundings. There are no kennels nearby so no barking dogs to disturb and upset your pet.

We provide all the items that your cats will need to enjoy their stay. However you are welcome to bring any food, blankets, toys or other items that may help your cat feel right at home. During the day we play soothing music to create a relaxing atmosphere. All pens, beds and toys are thoroughly disinfected to ensure a healthy, secure environment.

Cats will only be accepted for boarding if they have a valid and up to date vaccination for cat flu and enteritis. Evidence of vaccination within the last twelve months will have to be shown in the form of a vaccination certificate or an email. Please bring this with you when you bring your cat. There are no additional charges for administering medication, prior consent is required, please give us a call.

Male cats over the age of 8 months are only accepted for boarding if neutered.

We ask for a 40% deposit upon booking and the reminder of the amount to be paid 14 days before arrival of your cat.

Early collection of your cats is not a problem but you will be asked to pay for the booking you made as we have booked the space out at your request.

Opening Hours

Monday to Saturday 10:00 till 12:00 and 3:00 till 5:00

Sunday, Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Years Eve 10:00 till 12:00

From January 2025 we will be closing for dropping off and collections on a Sunday.

We are closed for collection and drop off on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day. and Sundays.

Please note we charge double rates for Christmas Day and New Years Day.
